You bought insurance, right?

The past couple of days have been jam packed and to be honest I didn't have the energy to compose a post. We left Dublin early yesterday morning in a taxi that took us back to the airport so we could pick up our rental van and we headed to Cork by the way of Waterford. We explored the city, went window shopping at Waterford Crystal and had a fantastic lunch in town!

They have these really neat toilets in the middle of the sidewalks but of course you have to pay per use, I think I might submit a request to Rumsey in Tuscaloosa to have these installed for game day!

Waterford Crystal is truly something spectacular, we didn't get to see the process but the finished product is beautiful. Maybe one of these days I will be able to afford some for myself!

We walked around the city for the remainder of the afternoon, toured the Christ Church Cathederal that first opened in 1779, it's hard to imagine all the people who have been touched by this Holy place.

The city of Waterford was vibrant and very family oriented, there are a a lot of people on holiday and the cities we have visited so far are bustling with excitement!

On the drive to Cork we experienced our first true Irish driving experience, the picture below should sum it up!

We arrived in Cork late yesterday afternoon and it immediately felt different than Dublin, it had a much heavier hipster vibe that I was drawn to instantly. We quickly changed clothes and headed out! We took the recommendation of our Air BNB host and had dinner at  The Oliver Plunkett which turned out to be a perfect spot compete with live music, which we all enjoyed!

The English Market in Cork is absolutely stunning, I have never seen anything like it in my 33 years. There were multiple butcher shops, bakers, fresh fruits and vegetables, and vendors selling everything from Indian Spices to CBD oil, they have everything!

We hit the ground running this morning, and then we hit a wall, literally!

We drove to Avis on the way to Kinsale and exchanged the van, unfortunately they did not have one exactly like we had so tomorrow I will start with a funny pic for y'all!

Kinsale was the most quintessential, idyllic little coastal town if I could have ever imagined one! It didn't take long to walk around the town and we ended up driving to a beach that was recommended we visit by our server from The Oliver Plunkett. Of course I had to put my toes in the sand and eventually the frigid waters! We had made dinner reservations for another recommended restaurant Fishy Fishy, and it did not disappoint! Everything you'll see below is from today in Kinsale.
Tomorrow morning we load up and head to Killarney!

Stay Tuned!
